Big, doe-eyed peepers: they’re the bomb, just ask Wylona. And luckily for you, today we’re unlocking the secrets of how to get your blinkers looking bright, open and wide awake.
These tips, tricks and tools have eye-lifting powers that will boost any ol’ set of eyes, regardless of their shape or size. Who woulda’ thought a little makeup could make such a difference to your gaze and give you the come-hither stare you’ve been craving?!
It’s no secret that long, voluminous lashes make the eyes appear more wide awake. For thickness, apply mascara at the base of the lashes using quick right to left strokes. For length, apply the tip of the mascara wand to the ends of the lashes and drag in an upwards direction.
Also try false eyelashes.
Fill in your brows
In much the same way a picture frame affects the way the picture looks, your eyebrows affect the way your eyes look. The appearance of polished, groomed brows has a surprisingly elongating effect on the eyes, and thicker brows will make peepers appear larger. A few errant hairs can pull attention downward so make sure you keep a clean shape by removing strays and cover any sparse areas with shadow or pencil.
Line it up
When you apply eyeliner on your lower lashes, do it just below the lash line instead of inside the rim and try to use a white or light pencil, as this will give the peepers that bright-eyed effect. Why? Because white liner on the inner rim takes away the pink tone, making you look more awake.
Create a Cat Eye
Extend the eyeliner beyond the outer corners of your eyes in a winged effect to make your eyes appear wider.

How to whiten skin with foundation
Add some gold dust or pencil to the inner corners of your eyes to bring more light into your blinkers and produce the effect of a larger silhouette. The soft, light reflective pigments will help bring the blinkers to life, and it also pays to apply some along the contour of your brow bones.
Curl your lashes
A natural curled lash will work wonders on the eyes. Start at the root of your lash and gently pulse the curler shut three times. Layer with mascara to finish.
Color code your lids
Using two different eye shadows from the same color family creates instant dimension and depth on your lids.
Bright eye makeup helps the eyes appear larger-than-life and has the ability to troubleshoot tired blinkers. Try to concentrate color on the middle of the lash line to appear more doe-eyed.
Wear Bright Lipstick
Surprisingly, wearing a bright lip colour without eye makeup can make the peepers pop. Just don’t forget the concealer!
