The images of children watching television, from Australian photographer Donna Stevens are oddly disturbing.
It seems like kids transform from energetic bundles of creativity to zombies.
Stevens calls this series “Idiot Box.”
“This particular series came about after watching my own son’s interaction with the family iPad,” Stevens told The Huffington Post.
She said the shoot was easy, “None of them talked or moved during the shoot. I didn’t direct them in any way. And even though I was positioned right in front of them with my camera, they barely noticed me.”
Is this what grown ups look like watching TV as well? I’m glad no one takes MY picture when I’m halfway through a marathon weekend of Tim Burton movies!
